Santa Claus & Santa Paws! A Benefit for HART - Hope for Animals Rescue Team

Saturday the 16th I spent the day at Nibroc Park in downtown Corbin with the amazing volunteers of HART - Hope for Animals Rescue Team.  With their help and my wonder hubby in a Santa suit we pulled off raising over $220.  All the money went straight to their rescue and my family was proud to be a part of it! The following Sunday we had the privilege of photographing at The House of S&J, raising even more money and seeing more smiling faces!  If you want to help local animals it's so easy, even if you can't adopt a furever pet there are so many ways for you to help! You can foster, donate funds, food, supplies, help with transport and volunteer your time like my family did these two days! We spent those two days laughing, meeting new friends, seeing some of the cutest kids and pets ever, teaching my son the importance of volunteer work, seeing my husband in a Santa suit, doing photography which I LOVE, networking, and on top of that we helped pay some vet bills for shelter animals that had been rescued by this group! All that cost me was TIME and I will forever be changed by it. Fostering has changed me, adopting has changed me....your heart only gets bigger when we help those in need!
